Kosciusko is the home of many special events that local residents and visitors from all over Mississippi and other states enjoy and look forward to each year.



The following is a list of the major events featured in Kosciusko:

Natchez Trace Festival 

Last Saturday in April; features arts, crafts, entertainment, a 10K run, Moonba Kids Fest, classic car show, and many antiques.

His Last Days

An outstanding drama on the lawn of the First United Methodist Church; An Easter Season's must see; 3 days prior to Easter.

Aisle of Honor

Memorial Day and Veterans Day Memorial Ceremony with over 400 burial flags of deceased veterans; held at Parkway Cemetery.

Central Mississippi Fair

Held late July or early August with many special events including rides, exhibits, and entertainment. Great fun for the entire family.

AUTUMN ARTS FESTIVAL

The middle of October featuring art exhibits and handmade products.

CHRISTMAS PARADE

Held the first Friday in December on the Court Square featuring family entertainment with Santa Claus.

TOUR OF HOMES

Early December candlelight walking tour of several historic homes, The Cultural Center, and places in the downtown area. A highlight of the holiday season.

CHRISTMAS CHRISTIAN CONCERT

The week before Christmas, similar to the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
